Top 5 Dry Shampoos

I swear by dry shampoo and it saves me on most days. I am still learning how to style my hair on my own and I must say I’m really not the best at it. I have fine, dark hair and I struggle with oil, so it can be difficult to not want to just wash my hair everyday. I am such a “throw my hair in a bun/ponytail” type of person, because I don’t like hair in my face all day. So, a little dry shampoo gets me through when my hair is feeling oily. Some are better than others with hiding the oil, so I have ranked them according to how they have worked for me!

1.Sachajuan Dry Powder Shampoo : This is my favorite because of how well it hides the oil and provides so much volume! I use the powder for blonde hair though, because the dark powder can get messy. So, if you have dark hair then you just have to rub it in ,because it does come out white.

2.Aveda Pure Abundance Hair Potion : This isn’t technically a dry shampoo, but I use it as one. It makes the hair damp, so I will actually blow dry the root of my hair. This gives me a lot of volume and takes away all of the oil in my hair. It’s great on those days you don’t have time to wash your hair & it gives a fresh blowout look.

3.R+Co Death Valley Dry Shampoo : this one smells amazing and definitely gives you volume at the root. I think is great for styling. It is more for days my hair isn’t too oily, but it is just a little flat.

4. Oribe Gold Lust Dry Shampoo:Smells amazing and is great for a little volume at the root on a day that my hair is just a tad oily.

5. Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo : I just tried this one for the first time a few weeks ago and I really like it! It seems to be great for volume as well and a little helpful for oil, but doesn’t take away as much oil as the others. Also, obsessed with the smell!
